Replacement Tomlinson Valve for Water Bottles and Porcelain or Ceramic Crocks
A replacement plastic Tomlinson Valve for your valved water bottle or porcelain/ceramic crock. Fits most standard crock openings. Note: not all bottles have a valve opening, so be sure yours does. Comes with plastic valve, two silicone washers, and a plastic nut – everything you need to replace a valve.
To Install:
1. Place one of the silicone washers over the threads of the valve, with the pointed side of the washer facing the bottle or crock, and the flat side of the washer facing the handle of the valve.
2. Insert the valve with washer into the hole of the bottle or crock.
3. Thread the second washer onto the valve from the inside of the bottle or crock, with the pointed side of the washer again facing the wall of the bottle or crock. This will create the watertight seal.
4. Screw the nut onto the end of the valve on the inside of the bottle or crock to secure. Hand tighten only. The two pointed ends of the washers should insert into the hole of the bottle or crock on either side to create a seal. Take care not to overtighten, which will result in flattening the washers and breaking the seal.
